Established by the Horticulture Society of Victoria in 1861, The Burnley Gardens were set up to introduce new plants to the colonies, and to promote botanical and horticultural science. This it has done for over 150 years.
Conducted by a guide from the Friends of Burnley Gardens our tour will be exploring this history. We will see heritage trees dating back to the 1850’s, and distinctive areas such as the Herb Garden, Grey Garden, Rose Garden and Native Garden.
